RAINFOREST AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION
The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation charity, which protects the world’s most biologically important and threatened habitats acre by acre. The WLT are our partner for Carbon Balancing our unavoidable carbon footprint.
MORE TREES FOR UK WOODLAND
The Woodland Trust create new UK woodland and harness nature’s simple and powerful way of removing carbon dioxide from the environment.
- Employee fundraising with the Woodland Trust has enabled the creation of 250m2 of new native woodland at Heartwood Forest, which will absorb at least 10 tonnes of carbon dioxide over the trees life cycle.
- To help plant more trees, for several years we collected boxes of unwanted cards to donate towards the hugely successful M&S National Christmas Card Recycling Scheme. M&S have recycled more than 51 million Christmas cards and planted over 51,000 trees – a really worthwhile project, which Impress are proud to be a part of.
- At Impress we encourage everyone to enjoy their local forest, woods or park. Find your local green space or find a wood near you.
CRISP AND SNACK PACKET RECYCLING
Impress have joined the KP Snacks® scheme working with TerraCycle® to become one of the UK collection points. All brands of crisps, nuts, popcorn, and pretzels packaging are accepted, and the recycled material will ultimately be turned into new plastic items such as outdoor furniture.
As well as helping the environment, we will also gain points which we will be donating to help our local Food Bank in Walton & Hersham.
YOUTH FOOTBALL SPONSORSHIP
We have some keen employees who get involved and run little league football teams. Impress support and sponsor the kit to ensure they look their best on the pitch.
EMPLOYEE FUNDRAISING AND DONATIONS
Through prize raffles, competitions, cake bakes and having lots of fun, together we have donated to some great causes…
A crazy and fun cycle…

We covered a total of 1104 km (686 miles), the equivalent distance from the Impress office in Hersham, Surrey to John O’Groats in Scotland! Read more…
