APPRENTICESHIP – CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
APPRENTICESHIP - BINDERY TECHNICIAN

We are on the look out for apprentice finishers who share our desire and passion to be the best in the business.

The successful candidates will be versatile, practical, have excellent attention to detail, able to work well under pressure and have a good sense of humour!

You will become a valued member of our team and will learn a trade which includes operating various items of print finishing equipment such as:

  • guillotines
  • folders
  • stitching line
  • perfect and PUR binder
  • cylinder
  • laminators

You will work with the British Industries Printing Federation (BPIF) to gain your qualification, which involves on the job learning, along with training sessions for each module in Central London on one day every 1-2 months.

As well as demonstrating the ability to work well on your own, you will be willing to contribute to the team effort to get the job done and will be flexible.

APPRENTICESHIP – CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Undertake training with Impress and an external training body to achieve NVQ Qualification. Work under the direction of the appropriate Department Supervisor to learn all aspects of the print production processes.

Responsible to: Department Manager

  • Under training, become competent to hold a responsible position within Impress
  • Become competent in the workflow methods in each department
  • Gain sound awareness of all aspects of the print processes including studio, digital print, lithographic print, finishing and mailing.
  • Learn to operate various items of equipment under supervision.
  • Undertake general duties to assist the smooth running of the department
