Helping our food bank this winter

Helping local people in crisis.

No one in the UK should need a food banks help, but unfortunately this is likely to be the most challenging winter our food banks have ever faced.

This emergency appeal spurred our employees to take action.  Our staff kindly contributed towards a collection of the most needed items on the food bank shopping list: Christmas treats, hot chocolate, tins, sponge puddings, cleaning and laundry products.

Our donation has been most gratefully received by our local, Walton and Hersham Food bank and we plan to continue to help in the forthcoming months ahead.

“With the Trussell Trust food banks giving out more food than is being donated and 2.5 million emergency food parcels being given to people in crisis in the past year.  We felt it’s important to do what we can to help.”
